Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service in Rockhampton is seeking a Cardiology Administrative Lead to guide a busy team, coordinate services across wards and clinics, and support recruitment, onboarding, and staff development.
You will work with clinical and corporate teams to ensure efficient, patient-focused admin services, monitor performance, review systems for continuous improvement, and contribute to governance and risk management.
With 305 beds and a major referral role across Central Queensland, Rockhampton Hospital is home to a diverse range of specialist services, from Emergency Medicine and Surgery to Paediatrics, Mental Health and, of course, Cardiology.
With a newly developed, state-of-the-art Cardiology Department, the hospital is helping deliver even more specialised cardiac care across the region. Supported by visiting specialists from tertiary hospitals throughout Queensland, you'll be joining a busy, collaborative team with plenty of opportunities to learn, grow and make a real difference.
