Job summary

Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service – Rockhampton, QLD, is seeking an Administration Officer for the Cardiac Investigation Unit. You will manage bookings, coordinate schedules and help ensure patients and clinicians are where they need to be for efficient care.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering friendly, patient-centered service and supporting daily unit operations with empathy and professionalism.

Frontline Support: This frontline support role provides essential support enabling the development and delivery of frontline services, programs and outcomes.

The Cardiac Investigations Unit is at the heart of delivering quality cardiac care across Central Queensland! Our team provides important diagnostic services, including echocardiograms, exercise stress tests and ambulatory monitoring, helping clinicians get the answers they need to care for their patients.

Working alongside talented cardiac physiologists, radiographers, nurses and clinical teams, we're growing our Cardiology Department and making a real difference to the health and wellbeing of Central Queenslanders. Every heartbeat counts, and we're proud to be part of it!

About the role

Be the friendly face behind the scenes, keeping the Cardiac Investigations Unit running smoothly! From booking patient appointments and coordinating schedules to making the most of available appointment times, you'll help ensure patients and clinicians are in the right place at the right time.

Working closely with our clinical team, you'll bring your excellent customer service skills, empathy, patience and positive attitude to every interaction. It's all about keeping things organised, making patients feel welcome and helping deliver great care!

What we offer

Total monthly remuneration value of up to $8,682 p.m. is comprised of:

• An hourly rate between $41.44 - $46.05 p.h.
• 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
• 17.5% leave loading
