Perks People Solutions is partnering with a reputable property services firm seeking an organised administrative professional. You will handle calls, emails, filing, and client communications, while supporting conveyancers and settlement tasks.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Attend to incoming calls and emails professionally.
  • Open new client files and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare letters and initial correspondence to vendors and purchasers.
  • Send confirmation of registrations to relevant parties.
  • File old documents and correspondence to maintain organised records.
  • Provide support to conveyancers with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Attend settlements, handle banking post-settlement, and prepare final letters to agents, councils, and clients when required.
  • Data entry of monthly invoices and follow up payments.
  • Assist with banking procedures and process receipts.
  • Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely distribution.
  • Ensure the office is well-presented and organised.
  • Attend client meetings when required.
  • Communicate effectively and remain calm when assisting clients under stress.

Our Client

Perks People Solutions are partnering with a reputable company operating in the property industry. This role will require you to support the team in a diverse range of day-to-day business activities. You will be welcomed by a supportive, close-knit team that values teamwork, open communication and innovation. The office is located 10 minutes north of the CBD, with on-site parking. This is an exciting opportunity to join a long-established practice who are committed to supporting their employees.

The Role

Reporting through to the Manager your duties will include:

  • Attend to incoming calls and emails professionally, providing courteous and helpful assistance
  • Open new client files and maintain accurate records
  • Preparing letters and initial correspondence to send to vendors and purchasers
  • Send confirmation of registrations to relevant parties
  • File old documents and correspondence to maintain organised records

About You
  • Previous experience working in an administrative role
  • Experienced using the full Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to use initiative and work in a team
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fast learner who can pick up new workplace systems
  • Ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
  • An interest or background in the property sector is desirable but not essential
