Job summary

West Coast Auto Air Conditioning in Mandurah is looking for a front-line customer service representative to quote, book and explain vehicle repairs in plain language. You will convert enquiries into bookings, understand faults, fixes and costs, and manage the workshop diary with day-to-day admin and invoicing using our workshop software.

We value solid phone and customer service experience, a genuine mechanical understanding and confidence with software.

Qualifications

• Sales experience is highly regarded.
• Genuine mechanical understanding: you need to grasp what's wrong with a vehicle and how we're fixing it, and relay that to the customer.
• Confidence with software and computer systems, and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.

About us

West Coast Auto Air Conditioning is a busy Mandurah workshop specialising in automotive air conditioning, heating and auto electrical. We look after everyday drivers, fleets and trade customers, and we've built our name on doing the job properly and explaining it straight. We're growing, and we need the right person on the front line.

The role

You’ll be on the phones, quoting, booking jobs, and translating what's happening under the bonnet into plain English the customer actually understands. If you can build rapport, ask the right questions, and turn an enquiry into a booking, you’ll do well here.

What you'll be doing

Answering calls and handling customer enquiries from first contact to booking. Understanding the fault, the fix and the cost, and explaining all three clearly to the customer. Quoting jobs and following up on quotes. Managing the booking diary and keeping the workshop flow tight. Day to day admin, invoicing and using our workshop software.

What you must have

Solid phone and customer service experience. Sales experience is highly regarded, this role rewards someone who can convert. Nice to have

Automotive or workshop background. Experience with workshop management or booking software.
