Job summary

SEQ, a well-established commercial Electrical & Security construction company, is seeking an experienced Accounts Officer to join our Capalaba-based team. This hands-on role covers day-to-day accounts processing, payroll, and project administration with direct exposure to the Director.

You will be confident with Xero, meticulous with financial records, and capable of supporting project teams with construction documentation and reporting.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience as an Accounts Officer or similar accounts administration role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial information.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and payments.
• Complete bank reconciliations and payroll processing with associated records.
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and external accountants as required.
• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with regular reporting.
