Job summary

Palm Lake Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for our Head Office in Southport. This full-time role (38 hours, Mon–Fri) supports an established AP team in end-to-end payable functions across entities.

The successful candidate will handle invoice processing, reconciliations, and timely payment runs, while maintaining internal controls and collaborating with internal departments and vendors.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in a high-volume accounts payable role.
• Strong computer literacy, across Microsoft Suite & online banking systems.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing the accounts payable entry process and resolving issues.
• Process supplier invoices, expense claims, and payment runs accurately and on time.
• Monitor and maintain a shared Accounts Payable Mailbox.
• Manage new creditor setups, credit applications and changes of details.
• Reconcile supplier statements and accounts and escalate discrepancies.
