Frontline Recruitment Group - Lidcombe NSW is seeking an organised Accounts Payable Officer to join a fast-paced finance team in a globally recognised FMCG business with an international presence. This role offers career growth within a supportive environment.

You will process supplier invoices, reconcile statements, monitor aged payables and assist with bank reconciliations and GST checks while building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in accounts payable.
• A tertiary qualification in Accounting is preferred.
• Proficient Excel usage with data entry accuracy.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and general ledger basics.
• Attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Clear communication and relationship skills with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proactive, resilient, and able to thrive in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices, claims, credit notes and employee travel and expense claims.
• Reconcile supplier statements, including freight and duty accounts, investigating discrepancies and ensuring timely payments.
• Monitor aged payables, follow up on missing invoices and maintain accurate supplier accounts.
• Review warehouse and depot expenses and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries.
• Assist with daily bank reconciliations, general ledger reviews and monthly GST checks.
• Support the wider Accounts Payable team in achieving operational targets, accuracy and efficiency.

Skills and Experience

• 1-2 years' experience in Accounts Payable, ideally with exposure to supplier statement reconciliations.
• A tertiary qualification in Accounting is preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.
• Sound understanding of accounts payable processes, general ledger principles and financial procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• A proactive, resilient and positive attitude, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
