Join a fast-growing Australian technology company transforming the automotive industry. You'll be part of a collaborative team, with the opportunity to take ownership of your work, contribute to improving financial processes and grow alongside the business.
If you're someone who takes pride in accuracy, works independently and enjoys solving problems, we'd like to hear from you.
About the role
You’ll own the AP cycle from invoice receipt to payment submission. Every transaction is vehicle-specific and involves multiple parties, so you’ll verify details against our systems and supporting documents before anything is booked or paid. Accuracy matters more than speed here.
What you’ll do
Manage day-to-day accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy, timely processing, effective financial controls and compliance with internal procedures. Maintain financial integrity, resolve discrepancies and support reporting requirements.
What we’re looking for
Minimum 2 years of experience in AP or bookkeeping, preferably handling high-volume or high-value transactions.
Proficient in Xero, with the ability to manage supplier accounts, reconciliations, payments and corrections independently.
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify duplicate invoices, incorrect amounts, mismatched references and discrepancies in financial records.
Intermediate Excel or Google Sheets skills, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, filtering and reconciling large datasets.
Sound understanding of payment controls, supplier verification, bank detail validation and approval processes.
Ability to independently investigate and resolve reconciliation differences, unmatched transactions and outstanding balances.
Ability to quickly grasp complex account structures and themes.
Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and high transaction volumes without compromising accuracy.
Proactive problem-solver who investigates discrepancies, identifies root causes and proposes solutions with minimal supervision.
Clear and professional communication skills when dealing with internal teams and external suppliers.
