Job summary

IXOM's Melbourne CBD Shared Services team is looking for an Accounts Payable professional for a fixed-term maternity leave contract, commencing immediately and running through to early March 2028. In this role you will perform end-to-end AP processing, allocate invoices, and support vendor enquiries, with three-way matching and Readsoft checks in SAP.

Qualifications

• Prior SAP experience is essential.
• 2–3 years of AP experience desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident liaising with stakeholders in Finance and across the business.
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounts payable processing.
• Process a high volume of AP invoices in SAP.

Looking for your next opportunity to build on your Accounts Payable experience? Join IXOM’s Melbourne CBD Shared Services team on a fixed-term maternity leave contract, commencing immediately and running through to early March 2028.

You’ll play a key role in supporting the Accounts Payable function, including payment processing, accurate account allocations, and vendor support. This is a great opportunity to strengthen your transactional finance experience while contributing to a collaborative and supportive Shared Services team.

Key Responsibilities

• End to end Accounts Payable experience
• Processing a high volume of accounts payable invoices in SAP
• Ensuring three-way matching of invoices against Purchase Orders
• High volume verification of incoming supplier invoices via Readsoft
• Exposure to Vendor Master Management and Freight Invoice Processing
• Management of supplier enquiries
• Maintaining compliance with internal controls

Who are we looking for?

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Prior experience using SAP is essential for the successful candidate
• Proven experience minimum 2-3 years of working in Accounts Payable is desirable
• Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
• Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment
• Confident liaising with a variety of stakeholders across the Finance and broader business
