Job summary

Blackwoods in Canberra is seeking a Sales Representative to manage and grow a portfolio of existing trade and industrial customers while identifying new business opportunities across the local market.

You'll split time between the Fyshwick branch and customer visits, strengthening relationships, delivering great service, and supporting the branch team with sales expertise to drive targets and customer loyalty. A company vehicle is provided for client visits.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, trade sales, industrial sales, wholesale distribution or customer-facing account management.
• Confidence engaging with a broad range of stakeholders from tradespeople through to office-based decision-makers.
• A proactive and resilient approach to prospecting and business development.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into sales outcomes.
• Experience using CRM systems is highly regarded.
• Product knowledge within industrial, safety, construction, manufacturing or trade environments will be advantageous

About The Role

We're looking for a Sales Representative to manage and grow a portfolio of existing trade and industrial customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities across the local market.

This role offers a unique combination of customer relationship management, account growth, proactive sales activity and in-store support. Based out of our Fyshwick branch, you'll spend time in the field meeting customers, strengthening existing relationships and uncovering new opportunities, while also providing support and sales expertise to our branch team when required.

You'll play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience across both external and in-store channels, helping drive sales growth and strengthen customer loyalty.

This role includes access to a company vehicle for customer visits.
