Job summary

Blackwoods is seeking a Sales Representative to manage an existing portfolio of trade and industrial customers while growing new business across the local market. The role is based at our Mile End branch with field visits, and includes a company vehicle for customer visits.

You will build relationships, prospect new opportunities and drive growth daily. Ideal candidates have B2B sales experience, strong relationship skills and a proactive approach to development.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, trade sales, industrial sales, wholesale distribution or customer-facing account management.
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders from tradespeople to office-based decision-makers.
• Proactive and resilient approach to prospecting and business development.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into sales outcomes.
• Experience using CRM systems is highly regarded.
• Product knowledge within industrial, safety, construction, manufacturing or trade environments is advantageous.

About the role
