Job summary

Blackwoods is seeking a motivated Sales Team Member for our Belmont branch. You will help customers, handle transactions, and maintain displays while supporting stock and warehouse activities. Join a close-knit team focused on safety and excellent service.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer-facing experience, strong communication skills, and a positive, learn-fast attitude. Forklift licence is a bonus but not essential; Sunday-Thursday shifts available.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Sales Team Member to become an integral part of our Belmont branch. This role will suit someone who enjoys building customer relationships, solving problems and working within a close-knit team

This role will ideally work Sunday – Thursday.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide exceptional customer service and product recommendations to trade and retail customers
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
• Build strong relationships with regular customers and identify sales opportunities
• Maintain product displays, merchandising standards and store presentation
• Assist with stock receipt, replenishment and inventory management
• Support warehouse and loading activities where required

• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store sales targets
• Contribute to a safe, positive and customer-focused team culture

We're looking for someone who:

• Experience in retail, trade sales, customer service or a similar customer-facing environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, mature and team-oriented approach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Forklift licence highly desirable but not essential
