Job summary

Onsite Rental Group in Mackay, QLD is looking for a motivated Account Manager to maintain and grow existing accounts and win new business in the local territory. You will report to the Regional Sales Manager and work closely with the branch team to drive sales activity and exceptional customer service.

You will engage in regular cold calling, build strong customer relationships, and manage quotes for hire while supporting tender submissions.

Qualifications

• Experience selling hire/capital equipment to industrial sectors.
• Willingness to cold call, meet customers in person and over the phone.
• Track record of attracting and retaining new business.
• Ability to work safely and autonomously in field settings.
• Demonstrates resilience and problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the existing customer base.
• Identify and convert new sales opportunities aligned with business plans.
• Conduct regular cold calling in the assigned territory.
• Build and strengthen relationships with customers through events and conferences.
• Prepare quotes for hire and support tender submissions.
• Communicate with branch team to support sales activity and ensure strong customer service.
• Maintain accurate client data in CRM.

About the role

Onsite has an opportunity for a motivated & capable Account Manager to join our team in Mackay, QLD.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager and working closely with the branch team, you will be responsible for maintaining & growing existing accounts and winning new business within your assigned portfolio / territory.

In this role you will: -

• Manage & grow the existing customer base
• Identify and convert new sales opportunitiesaligned with business sales plans
• Conduct regular cold calling throughout assigned territory, increasing awareness of Onsite’s product range & establishing yourself as the lead point of contact
• Build & strengthen relationships with existing & potential customers, attending customer events, trade shows & conferences
• Prepare quotes for hire & support tender submissions
• Communicate effectively with branch team to support sales activity & ensure exceptional customer service is delivered
• Maintain accurate client data in CRM system

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:
