Job summary

Onsite Rental Group is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager based in North Sydney. You will lead budgeting, forecasts, and regional data coordination across the group, ensuring accuracy of P&L loads and monthly close.

You'll partner with operations and branches, drive improvements in forecasting models, and oversee national reporting packs while supporting Onsite's growth strategy and governance framework within a fast-paced equipment hire business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in business/commercial fields.
• CA/CPA qualification preferred or Partially Qualified.
• Minimum 5 years in finance leadership.
• Strong Excel and Word proficiency.
• Experience in complex business and business partnering.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, quarterly and ad hoc forecasts.
• Manage group budget and forecast timetable; coordinate regional data collection.
• Oversee month-end estimates and close; consolidate regional P&L and liaise with branches.
• Review GL entries and national reporting packs; manage insurance renewals.

About the role

Onsite are on the lookout for an Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to be based out of our North Sydney office.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Budget / Quarterly and Ad Hoc Forecasts
  
  
  
  • Manage the group budget and forecast timetable
  
  
  • Establish standard models for regional data collection
  
  
  • Coordinate across business units for input collection
  
  
  • Manage/coordinate the build for Onsite support functions
  
  
  • Manage the loads into the OnBudget system
  
  
  • Manage national reporting packs
  
  
  
  


• M/E Estimate and M/E Close
  
  
  
  • Manage the month end estimate and month end close
  
  
  • Consolidate regional P&L estimates and review for accuracy
  
  
  • Liaise with Branch Managers as required to deliver accurate Monthly P&L’s
  
  
  • Review and process GL entries
  
  
  
  


• Insurance - manage the national insurance renewal with support from the management accountant

• Partly Qualified / Qualified CA / CPA

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and Word
