Job summary

Onsite Rental Group is seeking an Account Manager to join our Gladstone, QLD team. You will maintain and grow an existing account base, while also winning new business within your territory.

Reporting to the Team Leader Sales & Business Development Manager, you’ll work with the branch team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive revenue. You will proactively identify sales opportunities, cold call, attend events, and prepare quotes for hire.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in hire/capital equipment/industrial or related industry.
• Ability & willingness to cold call, in person & by phone.
• Record of success in attracting & retaining new business.
• Capacity to work safely & autonomously in the field.
• Resilience & the ability to overcome obstacles & find solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage & grow the existing customer base.
• Identify and convert new sales opportunities aligned with business sales plans.
• Conduct regular cold calling throughout territory to raise awareness of Onsite’s products.
• Build & strengthen relationships with customers, attend events and conferences.
• Prepare quotes for hire and support tender submissions.
• Communicate with the branch team to support sales activity and customer service.
• Maintain accurate client data in the CRM system.

About the role

Onsite has an opportunity for a motivated & capable Account Manager to join our team in Gladstone, QLD.

Reporting to the Team Leader Sales & Business Development Manager and working closely with the branch team, you will be responsible for maintaining & growing existing accounts and winning new business within your assigned portfolio / territory.

In this role you will: -

• Manage & grow the existing customer base
• Identify and convert new sales opportunitiesaligned with business sales plans
• Conduct regular cold calling throughout assigned territory, increasing awareness of Onsite’s product range & establishing yourself as the lead point of contact
• Build & strengthen relationships with existing & potential customers, attending customer events, trade shows & conferences
• Prepare quotes for hire & support tender submissions
• Communicate effectively with branch team to support sales activity & ensure exceptional customer service is delivered
• Maintain accurate client data in CRM system
