Job summary

Totalspan Cairns is seeking a Sales Consultant – Sheds & Steel Buildings to guide customers from enquiry to contract closure, designing building solutions and coordinating with contractors. Base salary plus uncapped commissions with realistic OTE. Training provided and a supportive local team in Far North Queensland.

You will manage your own portfolio of opportunities, visit showrooms and sites, and deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle.

Qualifications

• Has proven sales experience and enjoys achieving results.
• Builds rapport and communicates confidently with customers.
• Is organised and able to manage multiple projects.
• Works well independently while contributing to a small team.
• Has strong computer and administration skills.
• Holds a current driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Convert customer enquiries into successful sales.
• Meet with customers in showroom and on-site.

• Prepare quotations and proactively follow up opportunities.
• Negotiate and secure contracts.
• Coordinate projects with concreters, builders and suppliers to ensure a smooth handover.

Are you a motivated salesperson who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and earning great commissions?

Totalspan Cairns is a locally owned and operated steel building company that has proudly serviced Far North Queensland since 2006. We specialise in the design, supply and construction of garages, sheds, workshops, carports, rural and commercial steel buildings.

Due to continued growth, we're looking for a driven and organised Sales Consultant – Sheds & Steel Buildings to join our friendly team.

This is more than just a sales role. You'll guide customers through their entire building journey—from the initial enquiry and design consultation through to contract signing and handover to our construction team.

About the Role

Working with a steady flow of quality customer enquiries, you'll help clients design the right building solution while managing your own portfolio of opportunities from enquiry through to sale.
