Job summary

The New Royal Hotel Rubyvale seeks an Accommodation and Hospitality Manager to oversee guest services, bookings, room readiness, housekeeping oversight, and front-of-house operations. You will coordinate between restaurant, housekeeping, and reception to ensure consistently high service levels across touchpoints.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in hospitality, strong communication, and relevant certificates.

Qualifications

• Requires 2+ years in hospitality, guest services or accommodation operations.
• Experience coordinating small teams across cleaning, reception and service roles.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of reservation systems, housekeeping protocols and guest management practices.
• Understanding of WHS requirements in hospitality.
• Holding RSA and Food Safety Supervisor certificates is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accommodation bookings and reservations systems.
• Coordinate check-ins/outs and room readiness.
• Oversee housekeeping schedules and room turnaround priorities.
• Provide frontline guest support and promptly resolve service issues.
• Monitor guest feedback to improve service standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and venue cleanliness.
• Assist with shift rosters and staff direction as needed.

The New Royal Hotel Rubyvale is seeking a dedicated Accommodation and Hospitality Manager to oversee the delivery of core guest services, with responsibility for accommodation bookings, room readiness, housekeeping oversight, and front-of-house experience across day-to-day operations. This position plays a critical coordination role between the restaurant, housekeeping, and reception areas, ensuring that all guests receive consistently high levels of service across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily accommodation bookings and reservations systems
• Ensure timely check-ins, check-outs, and coordination of guest room preparation
• Ensure efficient use of property management systems for bookings and reporting
• Provide frontline support to guests on-site, assisting with inquiries and resolving service issues promptly
• Monitor guest feedback to continuously improve service standards
• Coordinate daily housekeeping schedules and room turnaround priorities
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure guest rooms meet hygiene and presentation standards
• Respond to guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with shift rosters, general staff direction, and task follow-upsEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and general venue cleanliness

About you

• Advanced Diploma or Diploma Level Qualification, or 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications
• 2 years or more experience in hospitality, guest services, or accommodation operations
• Proven ability to coordinate small teams across cleaning, reception, and service roles
• Excellent communication skills and commitment to customer satisfaction
• Working knowledge of reservation systems, housekeeping protocols, and guest management practices
• Understanding of workplace hygiene and WHS requirements in hospitality
