Job summary

Grand Pacific Health is seeking an Aboriginal Wellbeing Worker (part-time) to support CLS program participants, with emphasis on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across NSW. The role focuses on culturally responsive, recovery-oriented practical support to help individuals build independence and connection within their community.

The position is for 26.25 hours per week, fixed term until 30 June 2031 with potential extension based on funding.

Qualifications

• Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and actively participate in Aboriginal communities across the CLS program location.
• Qualifications in mental health, health or community/social services (minimum Certificate IV).
• Commitment to recovery-oriented practice as per the National Framework for Recovery Oriented Mental Health Services.
• Ability to engage with and mentor Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people toward recovery goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, culturally responsive and recovery-focused support.
• Help build independence, confidence and connection for participants.
• Collaborate with families, services and community to support participants' goals.
