Job summary

Wellways Australia is seeking a part-time Well Connected support role based in Deniliquin NSW to empower participants in their recovery journeys. You will work with families and carers, delivering tailored recovery plans and holistic support alongside clinicians to build independent living skills.

The role emphasizes culturally safe practice for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, CALD groups, and LGBTIQ+ participants, with admin duties and service improvement participation.

Qualifications

• Certificate 4 in Mental Health or related qualification.
• Certificate 4 in Mental Health Peer Work or Community Services.
• Current Working with Children Check and NDIS screening.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to participants and families within Wellways programs.
• Develop personalized recovery plans and collaborate with clinicians.
• Deliver individual and group activities to foster independent living skills.
• Complete documentation, recovery plans and contribute to service improvement.
• Offer culturally safe services to CALD and Indigenous communities.
