Job summary

Grand Pacific Health is seeking an Aboriginal Identified Wellbeing Worker for a part-time fixed-term position in Young, NSW. The role includes outreach to Tumut and Temora, supporting CLS participants and Aboriginal communities to build strengths and live well.

The worker will deliver culturally responsive, recovery-oriented support and collaborate with families and community services. The ideal candidate will hold a health/community services qualification (minimum Certificate IV) and identify

Qualifications

• Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and be an active member within Aboriginal communities across the CLS program location.
• Qualifications in mental health, health or community/social services discipline (minimum Certificate IV).
• Demonstrated commitment to a recovery orientation, in line with the National Framework for Recovery Oriented Mental Health Services.

Responsibilities

• Supports CLS program participants, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, to build strengths, set goals and live well in their community.
• Provides practical support that is culturally responsive and recovery focused, helping build independence, confidence and connection while working with families, services and the community.
