Job summary

Australian Unity Aboriginal Home Health in Albury is seeking a compassionate Aboriginal Home Health Support Worker to service the Albury community. The role focuses on domestic tasks, social support, and personal care for Elders, with a culturally respectful approach and ongoing training.

A reliable car and Australian Driver Licence are required, with vaccination against COVID-19 and encouragement for both experienced and non-experienced applicants.

• Has a reliable car and Australian Driver Licence
• Vaccinated for COVID-19 (2 Doses)
• Both experienced and non-experienced encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

• Domestic assistance such as cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, bed making, and meal preparation
• Social support such as accompanying our clients to their doctor appointment(s), shopping & social outings (experiencedependant)
• Perform Personal Care duties including showering, feeding and toileting; assist in oral medication(experiencedependant)
