Job description

Our client, a leading premium ceramics and tiling company, is looking for an A&D Sales Consultant to join their Sydney team.

This role would suit someone with experience working across the architectural and interiors industry, with an understanding of how to engage with architects, designers and end users. You’ll be responsible for nurturing existing relationships, identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Industry experience across ceramics, tiling or architectural products is advantageous but not essential, as comprehensive product and industry training will be provided.

We’re also open to candidates from broader sales and client-facing backgrounds, including recruitment, business development and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
• Work closely with architects, designers and end users to understand their requirements and provide tailored product solutions.
• Manage customer enquiries, prepare account reviews and presentations, and deliver a high level of service throughout the sales process.
• Maintain accurate client records, sales opportunities and activity within Salesforce.
• Support the wider sales team in achieving business growth and developing key accounts.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in sales, recruitment, business development, customer service or another client-facing role.
• Experience working with architects, designers or within the A&D industry is advantageous.
• A consultative approach with strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is advantageous.
• A genuine interest in developing product knowledge and building a long-term career in the architectural and interiors sector.
