Job summary

Salexo Consulting in Sydney seeks an experienced A&D Business Development Manager to develop relationships and drive specification opportunities across the architectural and design community. You’ll engage with architects, interior designers, developers and builders early in the design process, positioning premium product ranges across projects from inception to delivery.

This role rewards proactive networking, strong commercial insight and a track record of turning opportunities into sales

Qualifications

• Proven B2B sales experience within architectural specification or project sales.
• Established relationships with architects, interior designers, developers or builders in Sydney.
• Strong understanding of the specification process from design to procurement.
• Commercially minded with ability to turn specifications into sales.
• Confident presenting products to architects, designers and project stakeholders.
• Genuine interest in architecture and premium design-led products.
• Self-motivated, organised, able to manage territory and pipeline independently.
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen relationships with architects, interior designers, developers and builders across Sydney.
• Identify upcoming projects and engage key decision-makers early in the design process.
• Drive product specification across high-end residential, multi-residential, hospitality and commercial projects.
• Manage opportunities from initial engagement through to project completion.
• Proactively identify new architectural practices, design firms and project opportunities to grow the territory.
• Deliver product presentations, CPD sessions and demonstrations to architects and interior designers.
• Prepare quotations, pricing submissions and project proposals to support opportunities through to conversion.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of specifications, upcoming projects and active sales opportunities.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customers and projects are supported through to delivery.
• Represent the business at industry events, design presentations and project meetings.
