Petstock Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (2IC) for our NEW STORE at Petstock Angle Vale. You will support the Store Manager in leading a passionate team to deliver world-class customer service and drive store performance.

You’ll mentor and coach the team, manage stock and VM, recruit new members, and contribute to a positive in-store culture. A genuine passion for pets and people will help you thrive in our inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar store leadership role or ready to take that next step up in retail management.
• Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and build high-performing teams.
• Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities to meet deadlines.
• Commitment to safe Work, Health & Safety practices.
• Established business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, mentoring and inspiring your team daily.
• Support the Store Manager in coaching the team to develop their knowledge and skills.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain safety culture.
• Manage stock and ensure stock integrity processes are followed.
• Oversee visual merchandising of stock displays to VM standards.
• Recruit, onboard, and induct high-calibre new team members.
• Support local marketing opportunities and sponsorships.
