Job summary

Petstock Belconnen is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a passionate team and delivering world-class customer service. You will be instrumental in driving sales, coaching staff, and maintaining stock integrity and VM standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar store leadership role.
• Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and build a high-performing teams whilst fostering a positive culture.
• Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities.
• Ability to drive safe WHS practices.
• Established business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, mentoring and inspiring your team daily.
• Support your Store Manager in coaching the team to develop knowledge and skills.
• Provide exceptional customer experiences and lead from the front.
• Foster a strong safety mindset and safety culture within the team.
• Assist in stock management and ensure stock integrity and VM standards are maintained.
• Recruit, onboard and induct high-calibre new team members.
• Create a fun, supportive in-store culture where staff enjoy coming to work.
• Support local marketing opportunities and sponsorships.
