Job summary

ConnectSydney is seeking a Customer & Operations Centre Operator to join in Rockdale, NSW. You will monitor and respond to calls, faults and incidents from a 24/7 Control Room and coordinate responses to maintain the Harbour Zone network.

You will work a rotating 12-hour shift roster, dispatch resources, document incidents, and deliver high-quality customer service across phone and email while collaborating with multiple teams to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Experience in a traffic management or control room environment.
• Civil works or ITS knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy and MS Office proficiency.
• Good attention to detail and ability to stay composed under pressure.
• Strong problem solving, decision making and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to calls, faults and incidents in the Harbour Zone Network from the 24/7 Control Room.
• Organise and dispatch resources to attend faults and unplanned incidents.
• Report and document all incidents, observations and enquiries in ConnectSydney Job Management System.
• Provide a high level of professional service to customers via phone and email.
• Coordinate with multiple parties to resolve incidents in an organised manner.
