Job summary

ACESGroup is seeking a Security Control Room Operator to support a major Western Sydney precinct. The role requires coordinating daily security operations, monitoring CCTV and access control, and engaging with staff, contractors, and visitors to ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in a Security Control Room, Coordination Centre, or equivalent
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including advanced radio capabilities
• Customer service experience with conflict resolution and stakeholder engagement
• High-level observation, vigilance and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise tasks and make sound decisions under pressure
• Strong multitasking capabilities with accuracy and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Monitor and coordinate day-to-day security operations to ensure a safe environment
• Operate CCTV and access control systems for continuous surveillance
• Coordinate security team activities including patrols, access control, and loading dock security
• Respond to incidents, escalate observations, and maintain incident reports
• Manage emergency response in line with plans and procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and professionalassistance to stakeholders
• Maintain compliance with site procedures, legislation and safety management systems
