Job summary

EZSVS (AUS) PTY LTD is seeking an L1 Data Centre Operations Engineer for our Sydney site. You will be hands-on on the floor, handling remote hands work, site rounds and ticket SLA compliance.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in data centre or server support, basic Linux/Windows troubleshooting and the ability to work safely from SOPs. Night/weekend shifts on a rotating roster are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data centre, server or network field support.
• Ability to work safely from SOPs in a live data centre.
• Basic Linux and Windows troubleshooting and log capture.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and on a rotating roster.
• Excellent English communication; Mandarin viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

• Start shifts on time with checks and handover; maintain continuous attendance.
• Take tickets from all channels, confirm priority, respond within SLA.
• Server remote hands: rack/unrack, power actions, BMC and console access.
• Network tasks: port checks, fibre/copper inspection and cabling verifications.
• Data centre rounds every 12 hours: temperature, humidity, power and access.
• Cabling/labeling: copper, fibre, AOC/DOC, testing and labeling.
• Asset receiving, racking, stocktakes and RMA with approvals.
• Maintain incident timelines, photos, serials and action records.
