Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Data Centre Server Technician to support multiple Western Sydney data centres. This hands-on role focuses on diagnosing hardware faults, replacing components, and maintaining service levels in a secure, highly regulated environment.

On-site position with ASAP start and NV1 clearance is highly regarded. The team operates in mission-critical data centres, offering a stable, safety-first workplace with long-term opportunities, and collaboration with shift leads

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on data centre technician experience.
• Strong server hardware troubleshooting and break/fix experience.
• Experience with ticketing, incident management, inventory, and RMA processes.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve server hardware faults including no-power and no-POST failures.
• Review system logs and perform hardware testing to identify root causes.
• Replace faulty components and complete validation testing.
• Manage incident tickets and work within established SLA requirements.
• Support inventory management, audits, and RMA activities.
• Work collaboratively with shift leads, security personnel, inventory teams and on-site stakeholders.
