Job summary

TeamKids is seeking Casual Educators to join our OSHC program in Fraser. You’ll support children aged 5–12, run hands-on activities, and help create a safe, engaging environment before and after school and during holidays.

Ideally you have experience in OSHC or education, strong communication with children and families, and a willingness to complete required WWCC/VIT checks. Training opportunities are provided, and flexible shifts suit students and staff.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
• WWCC/Blue Card or state equivalent required.
• Available for flexible OSHC shifts (before/after school).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering OSHC activities.
• Support children's safety, wellbeing and engagement.
• Collaborate with TeamKids team and parents to meet needs.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a rolewhere no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Fraser

Shifts available

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential -we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get):

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
