Job summary

TeamKids is seeking a Casual Educator for Outside School Hours Care in Fraser, Australia. This role involves participating in before and after school care, leading engaging activities, and supporting a safe, fun environment for children aged 5–12.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, have a genuine passion for children's development, and be a team player who communicates confidently with kids, parents and staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support OSHC sessions and activities with a collaborative team.
• Engage children aged 5–12 through hands-on learning and play.
• Assist in delivering before and after school care at Fraser locations.

The Role - Casual Educator

This is a role where no two days are the same! Work closely with a supportive team to gain valuable experience in the OSHC space and make a real difference in children's lives.

Location: Fraser

Shifts available

• 7:00am–9:00am (Before School Care)
• 2:30pm–6:30pm (After School Care)
• Optional 6–8 hour shifts during school holidays

About You

• Ideally has previous experience working in Before and After School Care or education, but this is by no means essential - we can help you grow your skills!
• Passionate working with children and seeing them thrive
• Is involved, fun, a team player and ready to jump in
• Confident communicator with children, parents and colleagues

You’ll need (or be willing to get):

• Working with Children Check that is relevant to your state (WWCC,WWVP, Blue card, VIT)
• Has a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• As part of TeamKids’ commitment to child safety, all successful candidates are required to complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment with TeamKids.
