Job summary

Shift4 is expanding its payments solutions footprint in Austria. The Sales Representative will manage a defined territory, engage merchants face-to-face, and drive new business, upgrades, and services.

You will travel within Austria to meet business owners and close deals in a fast-paced fintech environment. The role requires a driven salesperson with strong German and English communication, a valid Austrian work authorization, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field sales experience in B2B, merchant acquiring, payments, SaaS, hospitality, or related areas.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent prospecting, negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and managing a healthy sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and acquire new merchants through outreach and territory development.
• Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings and product demonstrations.
• Drive new business acquisition and consistently achieve sales targets.
• Identify upsell opportunities for payment hardware, software, and services.
• Build trusted relationships by understanding merchant needs and presenting value.
