Fabasoft is seeking a procurement leader in Linz, Austria, to drive our procurement team and advance our processes from supplier selection to invoicing and issue resolution.

You will negotiate with suppliers, develop relationships, and steer the SAP S/4HANA rollout while ensuring quality, transparency and continuous improvement across the department. A culture of ambition, responsibility and excellence is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Completed commercial vocational training.
• Several years of professional experience in operational procurement.
• Experience in designing and optimizing procurement processes and SAP knowledge.

Aufgaben

• Provide professional leadership to the procurement team and develop the department and processes.
• Oversee the operational procurement from quotations to invoicing and handling complaints.
• Maintain and develop supplier relationships; conduct price and contract negotiations.
• Shape the digitalization of procurement processes; contribute to SAP S/4HANA implementation.

Your Mission

• You provide professional leadership to our procurement team and further develop the procurement department and our procurement processes in a targeted manner.
• You are responsible for the operational procurement of the Fabasoft Group and also get hands‑on yourself – from requesting quotations and selecting suppliers through order processing to invoice checking and handling complaints.
• You maintain and develop our supplier relationships, conduct price and contract negotiations and are responsible for the annual supplier evaluation.
• You actively shape the digitalization of our procurement processes and contribute your expertise to the introduction of SAP S/4HANA as well as other optimization projects.
• You participate in internal and external audits and ensure that our procurement processes are transparent, traceable and in line with our quality standards.
• You create and promote a corporate culture in which ambition, responsibility, innovation and excellence are lived.

Your Profile

• You have completed commercial vocational training and have several years of professional experience in operational procurement – ideally in a technology environment.
• You have experience in designing and optimizing procurement processes and have solid SAP knowledge (SAP S/4HANA is a plus).
• You are hands‑on, think in a solution‑oriented manner, and keep an overview even when faced with different requirements and priorities.
• You are aware of your responsibilities, lead by example, and demonstrate a strong commitment to performance – with clarity and conviction, you provide functional leadership to your team and seek direct, constructive dialogue even in challenging situations.
• Very good German and English skills round off your profile.
