Zusammenfassung

Fabasoft is seeking an experienced AI/Software Engineer in Linz to help build the next generation of Fabasoft Approve. You will design and implement AI-powered features, including LLM-based use cases, AI agents, and integration with external knowledge sources.

Collaboration with the team will guide you from concept to deployment. You will contribute across development stages, define test scenarios, and create automated tests.

Qualifikationen

• Completed IT-related education with several years of software development experience.
• Excellent knowledge of AI technologies, including LLMs and AI agents.
• Strong understanding of business processes and expertise in process optimization.
• Ideally experience in quality management and with large industrial companies in mechanical/plant engineering.

Aufgaben

• Develop the next generation of Fabasoft Approve and integrate AI technologies into our software products—from design through deployment.
• Design and develop advanced use cases based on LLMs and AI agents (prompt engineering, tool/function calling, semantic search).
• Contribute to all stages of the development of our AI-powered software products.
• Define test scenarios and create, execute, and maintain automated software tests.
• Work closely with the team to support onboarding and ongoing role responsibilities.

Your Mission

• You will help us develop the next generation of “Fabasoft Approve” and integrate state-of-the-art AI technologies into our software products – from design and conceptualization through implementation to deployment.
• You will design and develop advanced use cases based on Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI agents, working with prompt engineering, tool calling, function calling, semantic search, and the integration of external knowledge sources.
• You will contribute to all stages of the development of our AI-powered software products.
• You will define test scenarios and take responsibility for creating, executing, and maintaining automated software tests.
• You will work closely with the team, which will support you throughout your onboarding and in all aspects of your role.

Your Profile

• You have completed an IT-related education (technical college, university of applied sciences, or university) and have several years of professional experience in software development.
• You have excellent knowledge and experience in the design, development, and integration of modern AI technologies, including LLMs and AI agents.
• You have a strong understanding of business processes as well as expertise in process optimization and modeling.
• Ideally, you have experience in quality management and in working with large industrial companies in the mechanical and plant engineering sector.
• You enjoy exploring new topics and continuously developing your skills together with us and our customers.
