Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee critical network infrastructure projects in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will manage the full lifecycle from initiation to closure, aligning scope, schedule, and budget with executives and stakeholders.

The role requires 8+ years in project management, 5+ years in telecoms, PMP/PRINCE2 familiarity, and proficiency with MS Project, Jira or Asana. A hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in project management, 5+ years in telecoms.
• Proven experience managing large-scale network infrastructure projects (fiber, 4G/5G, core upgrades).
• PM methodologies (PMP, Agile, PRINCE2); PMP desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of telecom projects including deployments and upgrades.
• Define scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans with timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Manage risks, issues, changes with mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Monitor progress, KPIs, and provide status reports.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulations, and policies.
• Maintain effective stakeholder communication and budget oversight.
