About the Role

Our client, a leading entity in the **telecoms** sector, is looking for a seasoned Senior Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee critical network infrastructure projects in the **Queenstown**, Eastern Cape region. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex telecommunications projects on time and within budget. You will be responsible for managing all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of diverse telecommunications projects, including network deployments, upgrades, and service rollouts.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Manage project risks, issues, and changes effectively, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years focused on telecommunications projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale network infrastructure projects (e.g., fiber rollout, 4G/5G deployment, core network upgrades).
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile, PRINCE2). PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
