You will derive specifications, verify layouts, plan experiments with DOE methods, and translate results into actionable insights while mentoring engineers and aligning with Automotive divisions to meet project goals.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; a PhD is highly desirable
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in the semiconductor industry, ideally in chip technology development
• Solid technical understanding of power electronic device physics, wafer technology development and semiconductor processing
• Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication, moderation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to analyze, structure, and simplify complex technical challenges
• Excellent English language skills; German is an advantage

Aufgaben

• Derive power device specifications from marketing requirements
• Define and verify the layout of the device ensuring compatibility with the production process flow
• Ensure robust production by planning and running experiments using DOE methodologies
• Perform statistical analyses and translate results into clear, actionable conclusions
• Lead root-cause investigations and drive the resolution of critical technology, yield, reliability, and stability challenges
• Mentor and develop engineers across the organization, acting as a technical coach and role model
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders across Automotive and other Infineon divisions to align development activities and achieve project goals
