Infineon invites a Senior Staff Engineer to join our Research & Development team in power electronics. You will shape the future of technology by defining and validating next-generation discrete power semiconductors, including Trenchstop IGBTs, CoolSiC MOSFETs, and CoolSiC JFETs.

You will bridge customer needs and market-leading innovations across AI data centers, solid-state power distribution, EV, PV, UPS, and ESS infrastructure.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in the semiconductor and power electronics industry.
• In-depth knowledge of Silicon (Si) and Silicon Carbide (SiC) power technologies, discrete packages, and gate drivers.
• Familiarity with power electronic solutions used in PV, EV Chargers, UPS, ESS, AI Data Center Power, and SSCB.
• Ability to assess behavior via simulations and lab experiments, including test boards and systems, and characterization tests.
• Excellent English skills to navigate a global organization.
• A customer-first mindset with a track record of driving growth through technical excellence.
