Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Lead and optimize PCB assembly processes using both manual SMD soldering and automated manufacturing equipment
• Drive the setup, programming, and continuous improvement of SMT production workflows, including pick & place and reflow technologies
• Perform PCB testing, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis to ensure high quality standards
• Design and review PCB layouts using industry-standard EDA tools
• Develop and implement automation solutions to increase efficiency within the engineering lab
• Create and maintain technical documentation and process standards

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• A degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• First experience in PCB assembly, electronics manufacturing, or laboratory engineering (as an advantage)
• Strong knowledge of SMT processes, PCB design and simulation, and automated assembly technologies
• Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence, Eagle, or similar
• Interest in automation, process optimization, and programming
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills
• Fluent English; German skills are an advantage

We are filling this position through one of our leasing partners. A valid work permit for Austria (RWR+ Card) or EU citizenship is a prerequisite for this position. This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees of EEI with a minimum salary of € 4.472,11 (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
