You will collaborate with stakeholders to align on development progress, simulate complex circuits, create PCB schematics, perform design reviews, and develop automation tools for system control and data collection, enabling robust stress testing and qualification workflows.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or PhD in Power Electronics, Electronics, or a comparable engineering field
• Deep knowledge of high-frequency, high-power DC/DC converter topologies (Buck, Boost, Flyback, LLC) for SMPS
• Experience in microcontroller programming (XMC, C8051) using C, C++, and Lua
• Extensive expertise in high-frequency PCB design, EMC guidelines, circuit design, and simulation tools like Altium, Cadence, LTSpice, or MATLAB

Key responsibilities

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A Master’s or PhD degree in Power Electronics, Electronics, or a comparable engineering field
• Deep knowledge of high-frequency, high-power DC/DC converter topologies (e.g., Buck, Boost, Flyback, LLC) for SMPS applications
• A solid understanding of the theory, selection, and practical application of magnetics and capacitors
• Proven experience in microcontroller programming (such as XMC, C8051) utilizing C, C++, and LUA
• Extensive expertise in high-frequency PCB design, EMC guidelines, circuit design, and simulation tools like Altium, Cadence, LTSpice, or MATLAB
• A natural problem solver characterized by strong analytical thinking and structured troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach
• Fluency in English is required; German language proficiency is considered a strong asset

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G ( https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/ ). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
