Infineon Technologies AG in Austria seeks a Senior Engineer Technology Development in our Research & Development team to merge creativity with technical expertise and shape the future of technology. You will help drive groundbreaking projects and bring new ideas to life.

You will develop Backend of Line solutions for wafer technology, drive experiments to realization, ensure mass-production quality, report progress, and lead derivative Backend of Line projects.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or PhD in Physics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Materials Science.
• Knowledge in project management is beneficial.
• Strong analytical skills with structured, efficient problem-solving approach.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate efficiently in English (written and spoken).

Aufgaben

• Develop Backend of Line solutions for wafer technology and product features.
• Drive experiments from the process split definition to realization in the clean room and analyze metrology data.
• Ensure process stability and quality of the manufacturing route for mass-production release.
• Report development progress and risk mitigation actions to meet project objectives.

Your role

Key responsibilities

• Develop Backend of Line solutions for wafer technology and product features to realize power devices addressing the application needs while meeting performance, cost, and quality targets
• Drive experiments from the process split definition to the realization in the clean room, analyze available in-line metrology and electrical test data
• Ensure process stability and quality of the manufacturing route for the mass-production release
• Actively contribute to the project team while reporting on development progress and risk mitigation actions to ensure project objectives are met
• Support and be in a technical role for product portfolio extension
• Lead derivative projects with focus on Backend of Line

We offer competitive salaries and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. The employment is in accordance with the collective salary and wage agreement for employees of the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G ( https://www.feei.at/aktuelles/mindestloehne-und-gehaelter-eei/ ). The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
