Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or Physics with at least 3 years of analog/mixed-signal IC design experience.
• Strong semiconductor device physics knowledge and CMOS design principles; reliability considerations.
• Experience designing analog blocks: amplifiers, references, bias circuits, comparators, oscillators, PMICs, or data converters.
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and related simulation tools.
• Knowledge of analog layout, parasitics, lab characterization; silicon validation is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving; scripting such as Python/MATLAB helpful.
• Good English communication; German a plus.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of highly integrated semiconductor solutions that enable efficient power conversion, intelligent energy management, and sustainable technologies. Working closely with system architects, layout engineers, verification specialists, and product engineers, you will help bring innovative semiconductor products from concept to silicon.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Design and develop analog and mixed-signal circuit blocks, taking them from concept and architecture definition through implementation to silicon validation.
• Own block-level development, including verification, reliability analysis, performance optimization, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with layout and cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and robust implementation.
• Support first-silicon bring-up , characterization, debugging, and correlation of simulation and measurement results.
• Drive product support activities throughout development, qualification, ramp-up, and production phases.
• Contribute to design methodology improvements and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or Physics with at least 3 years of experience in analog or analog/mixed-signal IC design.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, analog circuit design principles, CMOS technologies, mismatch effects, noise mechanisms, stability analysis, and reliability considerations.
• Experience designing analog circuit blocks such as amplifiers, operational amplifiers, voltage and current references, bias circuits, comparators, oscillators, power management circuits, or data converter support blocks.
• Proficiency with industry-standard EDA tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and related simulation environments.
• Understanding analog layout methodologies, parasitic effects, and their impact on circuit performance ; experience with silicon validation, debug activities and lab characterization is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ; programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, SKILL, MATLAB) or similar environments is beneficial.
• Good communication skills in English. German is a plus.

The monthly salary is paid 14 times p.a. We offer a higher compensation depending on your expertise and skills.
