Job summary

The IAEA’s Safeguards Analyst (Quality Management) will coordinate key processes within the department’s quality management system and support improvements in process design and implementation. The role also involves knowledge management activities and audits, with training responsibilities for staff.

Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s degree or higher and at least seven years of relevant experience, including strong English communication skills and familiarity with safeguards concepts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field (science, engineering, or management).
• At least seven years of progressively responsible experience in process/quality management or related fields.
• Experience designing knowledge management activities is an asset.
• Excellent oral and written command of English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate processes within the department's quality management system and monitor effectiveness.
• Lead and facilitate process improvement teams and workshops.
• Evaluate and propose improvements to the quality management system.
• Design or update processes to implement new safeguards concepts or approaches.
• Carry out internal quality audits as assigned.
• Develop, implement and raise effectiveness of knowledge management practices.
• Prepare and deliver training on process improvements and quality management practices.
