Bitpanda in Vienna is seeking an experienced Python backend developer to help build high‑performance trading infrastructure. You will design scalable microservices, APIs with FastAPI, and contribute to an event‑driven architecture that scales with crypto, stocks, and metals.

You should have 4+ years of Python hands‑on experience, REST and websockets, relational and NoSQL databases, and experience with Kafka or ZeroMQ.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years hands‑on Python development experience in product‑driven environments.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and websockets, with the ability to design fast, reliable, and clean APIs using FastAPI.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Hands‑on experience with event‑driven architectures and message brokers like Kafka or ZeroMQ.
