Zusammenfassung

Bitpanda is seeking a Senior Engineer in Vienna to own, design, and scale the highly available backend systems powering our core financial ecosystem. You’ll build low-latency margin trading infrastructure, real-time risk engines, and compliant payment pipelines, shaping how customers interact with digital assets at scale.

Collaborating with Product, Risk, Compliance and Finance, you’ll architect services to safeguard the platform, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable growth across Europe.

Qualifikationen

• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Java are essential.
• Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases; PostgreSQL and MongoDB preferred.
• Proven experience designing, scaling, and maintaining publicly available REST APIs.
• Practical knowledge of event-driven middleware, ideally Apache Kafka or ZeroMQ.
• Cloud-native mindset with CI/CD; AWS and Kubernetes experience highly preferred.
