You should have 4+ years of backend experience, strong Rust skills, and knowledge of distributed, event‑driven architectures. The role offers a hybrid work model, competitive pay, and relocation/benefits to support growth.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience in building scalable, production-grade systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rust and solid working knowledge of Python.
• Experience with distributed systems, asynchronous programming, and event-driven architectures.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, websockets, relational and NoSQL databases, and messaging systems such as Kafka or ZeroMQ.

Aufgaben

• Build and scale high-performance backend systems in Rust powering Bitpanda's trading and pricing infrastructure.
• Develop microservices and internal tooling using Python across a distributed environment.
• Design clean, reliable, and maintainable solutions within an event-driven architecture.
• Work on real-time systems handling market data, pricing, hedging, and asset management across asset classes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system scalability, reliability, and performance.
