Bitpanda is seeking a Software Engineer for the Trade Hub to design, build and scale core trading systems end-to-end. You’ll work on backend services that power pricing, execution, and asset infrastructure in a low-latency, high-availability environment across markets.

You will collaborate with product, quantitative, risk and trading teams to deliver resilient systems and innovative solutions while leveraging a hybrid work model and global opportunities.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of software development using modern frameworks such as Micronaut/Spring Boot, with Java as main language.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, MongoDB encouraged).
• Experience creating REST APIs with performance and scalability in mind.
• Practical knowledge of message-oriented middleware; event-driven microservices (Kafka/ZeroMQ).
• CI/CD familiarity; AWS and Kubernetes ideal; other public clouds acceptable.
