Job summary

fonio.ai in Vienna, Austria is hiring a hands-on IT Operations Lead responsible for the entire internal IT setup from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring secure, automated, and auditable processes as the company scales.

You will manage devices with MDM (Jamf, Kandji, Intune), own SSO and SaaS access, drive SOC 2 readiness with our external InfoSec partner, and streamline support and tooling to eliminate shadow IT, all in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT administration, workplace IT, or IT operations.
• Hands-on experience with MDM and macOS devices.
• Solid knowledge of identity & access management (SSO).
• Automation scripting and/or workflow tools experience.
• Nice to have exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar.
• Structured, pragmatic and low ego; thrives in intensity.
• Fluent English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own full employee lifecycle on the IT side from onboarding to offboarding.
• Device management via MDM and managing laptops and policies.
• Own SSO, user provisioning and permissions across SaaS stack; automate where possible.
• Drive SOC 2 readiness with documentation and evidence collection.
• Internal IT support for devices, licenses, and access issues.
• Maintain clean tool landscape, licenses, and vendor management.
