Job summary

Erste Bank Oesterreich is seeking a seasoned Cost Controlling professional to join the Cost Controlling department within Group Finance in Vienna. You will partner with HR and business units to shape personnel cost planning, reporting, and KPI development.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Retail, Corporates, Risk Management, Controlling and HR Business Partners, providing exposure to top management and strategic cost projects.

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in a relevant field (Controlling, HR, Data Sciences or Business Law).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in HR Controlling or Payroll Accounting, ideally in banking.
• Proficiency in MS Office and SAP CO and/or SAP HR; SAC/Tableau knowledge is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of Austrian labor law and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan personnel costs aligned with the Group's strategy and targets.
• Define and monitor KPIs; support business units in achieving HR cost targets.
• Regularly report personnel cost developments to top management.
• Analyze cost structures, identify savings opportunities, and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Develop HR controlling, personnel cost management, and reporting processes.
