Erste Bank Oesterreich is seeking a senior position in Cost Controlling within Group Finance. You will partner with HR and finance to plan personnel costs, monitor KPIs, and report to top management.

The role emphasizes cost analyses, stakeholder communication, and ongoing process improvements in HR cost management. Because the department collaborates across Retail, Corporates, Risk Management, and HR, you will influence strategic cost targets and participate in key projects.

Qualifikationen

• Completed university degree with a focus on Controlling, Human Resources, Data Sciences or Business Law.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in HR Controlling or Payroll Accounting, ideally within banking.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP CO and/or SAP HR; knowledge of SAC and Tableau is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Austrian labor law.
• Strong analytical skills, teamwork, commitment and stakeholder communication.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.

The Cost Controlling department, embedded within Group Finance, acts as a Finance Business Partner with regard to cost development for Erste Bank Oesterreich, the Holding company, and its subsidiaries. The department is also responsible for regulatory outsourcing matters. One of its key functions is HR Controlling, which is responsible for personnel cost planning, regular reporting, KPI creation and monitoring, among other tasks. The team works closely with top-management and HR-Business Partners to define shared (personnel cost) objectives in line with the company's strategic guidelines. Working within the team provides the opportunity to contribute to strategic goals and projects in an exciting environment that offers continuous development and growth.

Your Tasks

Your Background

• Strong analytical skills, team spirit, commitment, and enjoyment of communicating with a variety of stakeholders
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
